I know what you said, but you decided to call me captain obvious and yet continue to bitch about something that we havent gotten around to yet. All i said to you was we havent gotten there yet. There is no bait lmao
Because you wrote the most nonsensical comment that boils down to "yes, we haven't mentioned the stuff that hasn't been mentioned because we are in a flashback. Now stop complaining"
And you have the audacity to tell others they're bitching about something lol
Bro, nobody told you you cant have feelings about something. All i did was tell you wait until the flashback is over lmao. We've barely had 20 chapters of Elbaf in the present day for fucks sake.

This is hilarious revisionism, not even 10 minutes after the conversation was had.
I responded to your comment, you called me captain obvious, then i told you to stop bitching because you responded like a 5 year old instead of just acknowledging my comment.
So yes, NOW im telling you you are bitching because I didnt even tell you how to feel about something initially lmfao. All i said was we've been in a 20 chapter flashback and to wait.
You are the one that got all passive aggressive here for literally zero reason
Absolutely. Even usop of all people has more lore in his all too typical family heritage.
There's absolutely zero reason why basic ass VAs never just invaded and conquered this bum ass country of oneshot-savages.
Anyways, Harald took the throne at age 15 so it doesn't exactly take Scotland Yard to figure out his dad died, you know. Was it that crucial to have a name for someone we never will see?

So bro lived centuries without doing shit (seeing the crucial mural every fucking day mind you) and only thought of making kids when he reached old age.

I think Oda's world building is hamstrung by him being too cute about revealing details.
We're supposed to believe there are giants found in multiple places over the world, but we never get details on it. The fact Estrid was basically still of Elbaph despite being presented as some kind of foreign bride weirds me out. The scale of the island just doesn't seem believably sustainable for giants or animals. I don't buy that there's a kingdom of people living there. Never mind multiple. Oda has really fumbled out of the gate with establishing Elbaph as a believable place for me.
Let's pretend he lived only 15 years - where's the mentioning of his father? Among a population that lives centuries 15 years would be an eyeblink. Surely you'd expect something!?
I mean, with Oden at least you knew Sukiyaki, his father.
With Harald,we dont know who were his father or his mother. For plot reasons he didnt have any brother or sister (pretty rare in a royal family),and one of his sons is not legitimate to rule because he was born by a foreign woman.
So basically as soon as Harald was dead and Loki went away, they had nobody to rule over Elbaph.
I get that Oda didnt want to make the story too complicated, but still,in this way the Elbaph royal dinasty was written in a too much shallow way imho
