Obviously not his pedo tendencies
The scheming mind, the tenacity, the luck, can they conquer the other fandoms?

Bro hit us with his Doflamingo monologue
Kinda reminded me about the Throne speech of Doflamingo ngl :milaugh:
Not my intention but I did feel that halfway through writing the post. But the truth this is what is happening in the fandom atm imo. Everyone pushing their agenda irrespective of who the other side is.

But now it seems that everyone is standing alone
Thats true.Groups kinda split since the final saga started

The problem is,every fandom wants that and that fight. But the reality is that this Manga already has a lot of off-screen fights and no Autor in this World would draw so many fights

Just the "XYZ will fight an Admiral"

Luffy,Zorro,Sanji,Kidd,Law,Sabo,Dragon,BB.Thats alone 8 characters.Thats a lot more as Admirals even exist

Or Luffy vs Shanks and Luffy vs BB and BB vs Shanks. How does that even works?Once you lose, you are out of the PK Race.

We have to many players for Oda to handle in a good way.And i didnt even counted stuff like the Gorosei and Holy Knights

True but that is what makes it more enjoyable for me at least, trash Oda all we want but the guy can deliver a banger and introduce some twist that most neve expected at least at some point. Saturns death and Garlings promotion caught much of the fandom off guard.

To me it never made any sense for Luffy to beat Akainu, BB and Shanks 1 by 1. Narratively it makes no sense specially after we saw what a monster Kaido was. You cant keep the power level progression going without fucking up your whole story built up to that point. But there are going to be fights like this mainly because we have a few confirmed opponents imo.

Luffy vs BB is destined imo, he doesnt have to fight Shanks and I think the conflict with marines is over and instead it has switched to Gorosei and Imu. So BB and Gorosei/Imu are the only two confirmed fights for Luffy imo and the order is yet to be confirmed depending on who is the final villain.

My fav twist still would be evil shanks.I like the idea that the MCs Idol turns out to be evil and hes kinda forced to fight him.But so far nothing pushes that idea as Shanks act like a yonkou should. If your terretory gets attacked, hunt down the attacker. In this case Barto

Oda CAN deliver but he sticks mostly with his Schema-F of splitting up the group.

Why not?Its a battle shounen and the MC has to become stronger.PK Titel is nothing you can get without being strong.Only Buggy would get the benefit of doubt IF he would become the PK as he has canonly the biggest Luck in the verse

The order was always a question.Nowadays i think Luffy will become the PK BEFORE they attack Mary Jose and take down IM.Bigger question for me is,how big will his force be?Sure, his main crew and his alliance.Maybe the Revos as well

This Manga has a lot of questions but IM is 99,9% the final villain.

We are not yet at the final stage, it is just the usual: the admiral fandom hyped something to the heavens just to be bited back by it, same as the GB introduction basically (even if on a smaller scale) it is just that the sword bros were involved in that situation as well and in an opposite way compared to Aokiji and so now this exploded like dynamite, but it will not last long. Fandoms on the side are just chilling while laughing at it but this is no new situation at all, after some weeks this stuff will be archived and we will have to endure some years of Elbaf arc before the admiral become somewhat active again in the story so that the circus comes back in town.

Also:
Dragon fans? Do they still exist if they even existed in the past?

I never heard about a Shanks and Sanji fandom alliance (I am a Shanks fan to a degree at least since Marineford, or at the very least I advocated for him being among the strongest in the verse since then), why should somebody with ever rising Shanks stocks go ally with Sanji which is the worst buy you can made in One piece? Just go look how the greatest Sanji fans ended up, they cheered for him, endured for years and now they all hate him (Chrono and Monster Zoro just to say 2 names).

Excuse me for typing it all together instead of breaking it down like you did.

Personally am not a fan of evil Shanks, I get the desire but so far his showings are goody two shoeish and I like Shanks so I dont want him getting clowned by G5 (cant imagine the Pizzaru shit being done to Shanks).

Yeah even now, barely out of Egghead and the split has started.

The problem is power progression, you cant make those three (Akainu, BB and Shanks) being much stronger than the other. It just fucks up the whole scale previously established and suddenly previous events make no sense. Luffy gets 1 PU to beat Akainu, then gets another to beat Shanks and then gets another to beat BB which makes BB >> Akainu or any variant of these three.

That is the beauty of OP, even with such a long run time, we are still unaware or far from guessing how the last saga will pan out. We can still theorize so far in the story. So many factions fighting each other who will side with who and fight against who.

Maybe, but I personally want BB to be the FV.

I hope the split endures, its fun.

Dragon fans exist

There was some sort of alliance at least thats what I get from some of the twitter convo I have read. The funny thing is exactly what you said, Sanji fans were sort of sucking up to Shanks and the Shanks fans turned out to give zero fucks about Sanji and some even trashed Sanji.

@RayanOO and a handful of other people are Dragon fans

But they currently hiding under a rock.

Because Dragon has proven now several times that hes useless in pretty much every regard
Dragon is doing perfectly fine
He's a military commander and Oda is trying to be a bit realisitic with his character, which doesn't bode well with most idiots reading OP.
They want Dragon to save Jinny, go to Egghead or fight Blackbeard in Baltigo, when doing any of these things would sabotage decades worth of progress for his revolution. When it comes to character writing he's up there with the Admirals, he's a military man afterall

I actually think this is a sign of something "darker" that is happening with the entire fandom and that will culminate in a really bad conclusion when we're really close to the end of the story.

One Piece has many fans, the ogs who have been following it since the ancient days, the many bleach and naruto fans that came over after their series were concluded, the new gen fans who found One Piece after the live action and One Piece finally growing in the western world.

All of those fans have expectations, and widely different expectations, which is something that happens with big epic stories like this. Like you said, most people have an agenda, they have favorite characters /factions and they want to see Oda use them and give them great moments before the story ends.

Lore theorists want to see the great flashbacks about the Void Century and God Valley. They want the backstories of huge characters like Shanks, Blackbeard and Imu. They want all the secrets this world has to offer.

The adventure bros and gals want to see a huge Elbaf arc with great adventure, like classic arcs, and don't care about the rest of the conflicts.

There's even some shippers hiding in the shadowy dark corners of the fandom.

And of course the Agenda Piece fans and Powerscalers. Everyone has their faves and wants their faves to fight important characters and come out on top.

If you've been reading Shounen and following different series, you know that One Piece has reached the juncture point where things are gonna start going nuclear. Fans will start noticing the things they want to happen, won't happen, either because the story won't allow for it or there isn't time. We've recently seen two big new gen shounen fandoms collapse in MHA and JJK, and those stories didn't create expectations for almost 30 years like One Piece did. One Piece fans have created insane expectations at this point and no matter how good Oda is, there's just no way to satisfy everybody. I will even go as far as saying that Oda is gonna have a hard time even making the majority of the fandom be satisfied, simply because the fandom is too broken up on what they want.

We've been seeing the cracks for some time now, i think Whole Cake and Wano opened the first cracks and with the ending of Wano and the entire Egghead arc, these cracks are growing and becoming more noticeable. That's why many "alliances" are being broken and factions are becoming more isolated and combatitive, because now the story has less time, and many of those characters and factions are gonna have to start going at each other, and someone is coming out of top, while the rest are about to be jobbed.

One Piece has done a great job of using hype, silhouettes, mysteries and character reputations to build up insane hype and discussion on the series. But there's a drawback, now Oda has to put all the cards on the table and many fans won't be happy about it. After all, by making everything a mystery and "discussable", even powerscaling, each fan could imagine a future of the series they wanted to see, their favorite characters doing well and defeating others. Now everyone will have to come face to face with the ending Oda is gonna show and that isn't gonna go well for many.
