Quick thoughts —

Soul Society is scaled to small country level, Kenpachi (patched) destroyed a meteor threatening to annihilate SS in Shikai.

Releasing his patch is akin to a Shikai power up and his bankai dramatically increases his power.

So large country level / continent level doesn’t seem absurd for Zaraki.

Here’s the issue—Piccolo at the start of the Gohan training arc effortlessly destroys the moon. He is maybe 50% of Raditz’ power level.

Nappa is minimum 3x Raditz and Vegeta is 12x without the Oozaru form.

Vegeta also had the potential to planet bust—I’d be shocked if Nappa couldn’t either.

So, maybe Zaraki brute forces his way beyond Raditz but he gets stomped by Nappa.

That's understandable but I have seen some people putting him at planetary before. I am not the best at bleach scaling so I wanted to see where he places in DBZ

I think that depends. I take it at face value but I have heard people putting him and other similarly scaled characters very strong. If he’s planetary bare minimum he beats Nappa and maximum gives Ginyu or Frieza a good fight

Kenpachi isn’t even getting past Raditz. Not much time transpired iirc from when Piccolo semi-casually destroyed the moon with an unnamed ki blast and when they fought Raditz. Meaning Raditz is around Moon lvl which means he’s soundly above Kenpachi who’s around Continental and with no hax there’s no way for him to bridge the gap in power or overcome the difference.
