idk if there even are any sort of ideological requirements to having ACoC. I think you literally just need CoC and some degree of ryuo.
Like Kid’s ambition of being PK is technically a greater ambition than Zoro’s ambition of being WSSM. But Zoro got ACoC first because he’s more skilled in haki.

Like Luffy has that special power of attracting people I believe Kidd has a special power too - never giving up. The power of belief, unwavering confidence, to never doubt or whatever characters have called it in the series. We saw Jinbei save the series by literally slapping Luffy back to his senses after Marineford so even the mightiest can waiver in their faith. We have yet to see this from Kidd.
I would compare Kidd to Kaido or WB. We don't know about WB for sure but judging from his scars we can conclude that he never backed down/ran away from an opponent (although he avoided stupid battles vs Marines and Kaido). Kaido is stated for a fact has been defeated over and over yet kept coming back.
This setback might prove to be the heaviest yet for Kidd, even worse than his first vs Beckman or vs Kaido. As a 3B pirate that more than held his own against BM he shouldn't be 1-shotted. It will take all of his willpower (CoC) to come back and if he does with new resolve then it will be cinema.
