Luffy = a reincarnated Joyboy/Roger
Blackbeard = a reincarnated ?????/Xebec
Shirahoshi = a reincarnated Poseidon

Additionally, Princess Vivi resembles Queen Lili who there is a portrait of.



I want to suggest that Momonosuke should also be among those pictures, but Wano was an isolated country, so it may have been unrealistic to expect the WG to obtain his picture (also noting Momonosuke came from 20 years in the past!)

They are, you're just very misguided about the concept. In fact, it's specifically stated that Poseidon has been reincarnating. As a reader, you're supposed to make inferences from that.

Some may not agree, but others may be more open to discussion of this topic.

Devil Fruits reincarnate, so why shouldn't human spirits? Nika has reincarnated as a result of a person using his Devil Fruit (he hasn't appeared in 800 years according to Zunisha) and Poseidon has supposedly reincarnated repeatedly every few hundred years.





Note: Devil Fruits reincarnate when a user dies, but it transfers to another similar fruit that already exists (not one that doesn't). Why can't a person reincarnate by transfering to another similar body in the same way? In fact, I would argue it's more appropriate/natural for human spirits to do that than it is for fruits to do it (and we know Devil Fruits are unnatural).
