General & Others Everything leads to Kaido or Imu

Every fight Luffy fought in NW led to Joyboy saving Wano from Kaido as prophesied and all these top tiers fight will lead to Joyboy saving the world from Imu.

Oda had 3 non top tiers battles before facing Kaido and will have 3 top tier battles before facing Imu:
-->Doffy : Kaido

• Fighting with help from his rivals (Law/Kid)
• Winning with a big punch (KkG/Bajran)
• Getting a shared bounty with his rivals (500M/3B)
• Most dangerous Warlord / Worst Strongest Pirate (he was also the most dangerous yonko btw)

-->Cracker : Kizaru

• Luffy has to confirm he's able to fight a YC/Top tier
• If Kizaru doesnt have CoC then yeah, both fights are fights against non conqueros
• Unlike Doffy, Kaido is confirmed > Admirals while Doffy isn't really put above Cracker

--> Katakuri : Teach

• Milestone battles that pushes Luffy ahead : Katakuri pushed him to surpass YCs and Teach will push hin to surpass all Pirates and top tiers in history
• (Also Katakuri's fight is speed based like Kizaru's fight will be, this thread isn't about that really)

---> Kaido : Imu

• Another milestone battle but in a bigger picture where Luffy has to grow much stronger to win to save wano/the world as prophesied
• Everyone will fight Imu first then it will end with Joyboy Luffy vs Imu, just like it was with Kaido in Wano.

People who are expecting Akainu and Shanks are daydreaming
Luffy only has 2 bounty increase left to reach 5B or 5.6B, Oda can't allow to give him 4 top battles after Kaido before facing Imu.
He's reaching 5B after beating Teach and then he becomes PK to go on fight Imu in the final war

The pattern is more based on Luffy’s development.

Doflamingo was training wheels for Luffy fighting a very durable enemy, just like Katakuri was training wheels for Luffy to fight a very fast enemy,

Kaidou was about finishing that training and overcoming the most durable Top Tier, by developing CoC and Barjang Gun. Kizaru will also be about finishing Luffy’s training against a speed based enemy, where he will probably increase his observation Haki skills and develop some G5 speed based moves, we already started seeing this with Gomu Gomu Rocket.

After Luffy masters both of those things then Oda will probably introduce a new skill entirely like VoAT, that Luffy will work on for the final power up of the series.

Naah dude that's almost non existent. Or if it does , given the story of The wizard of Oz , It's the Imu arc , because main villain in the book was the witch.

his defeat angered Doffy and basically guaranteed that he would fight Luffy (who would then defeat him and fight Kaido and so on…)
