Kong is still a top-tier, as strong as the old legends maybe. He achieved the highest rank possible for non-Celestial Dragons. He might be stronger than an old top-tier like Garp if he has a busted df.
I wonder who will fight him, Kong will be that really poweful fighter that every One Piece fan forgot that still existed until shit’s about to go down in the final war lol

Kong’s a weird one. Everything about the guy in his one appearance was hype, but then Oda just ignored the guy totally. Why not involve him at the Reverie? Or in the talk about Rocks with Sengoku where we got the Yonko bounties? How come Roger didn’t mention him as one of the Marines who could give him a fight?

I think if he’s ever going to play a role it’ll be in the Roger/Garp flashback, he just doesn’t seem to be all that relevant in the present day, despite his position. Maybe a case of a character Oda did have plans for, but has dropped to try and hurry the series up.

He is around 80 year old what can he do . He is past his prime highly doubt he will fight.

I personally think he might be good guy he doesnt seem to want to lose Sengoku .

He'll probably show up during the Mariejois assault in a retired capacity, deflecting a few attacks from BBPs, much like Sengoku did during Marineford, then leaving the spotlight to the new generation of (good) marines, while him and Fuji go on protecting civilians.
