Chapter Discussion Explain me this manga panel

1.) Loki is not blind, he could also see Shamrock for example. The blindfold is there to not scare other people.

2.) Who keeps newspapers? From memory, we already saw that there are abilities that change the mind, see Sugar in Dressrosa.

I think the better question would be, why the hell does Loki have a newspaper that is the perfect size for a giant child with news about the outside world?

It's also strange that everyone from the older generation is a Roger fanboy and no one ever talks about Rocks who had a bigger ambition.

I can only think of the previous hobi hobi no mi user was a god knight who fought in GV or Imu domi reversi everyone and that's it.

Once the user dies or gets KO the effect gets undone as shown in dressrosa

Lulusia probably has countless documentation about it. The point is the WG is strong enough to find and make this documentation disappear over the decades that eventually the world moved forward as if it never existed
If they had a couple more decades without Luffy (and Dragon I would say, Revolutionaries I think play a big factor) they would probably erase any record on Roger pirates too with very few telling stories of them

Nah Roger might be too big for them to cover up.
Because they are still fresh and there exist many more pirates, remove Luffy, Blackbeard, Dragon and another 3 decades after that and Roger's legends will just remain myths I think, passage of time, people being compliant + the biggest organisation covering, deleting and creating issues to deflect has a big effect look at the real world

The thing about the WG erasing people/places from history is that everyone eventually just stop talking about them. It's kinda similar with the real world: can you name every president/prime minister/king your country ever had? Or all of the most relevant individuals in the world from 40 years ago? Even if they're in the history books, most people don't have a clue about them nowadays (especially in the "snack" info era we're in now).

For the One Piece's world it's even worse: as most places are isolated by dangerous seas full of pirates and hazards, most of the info people get are from newspapers (up-to-date events, but still kinda suspicious, since Morgans apparently monopolizes the segment), unverified books (e.g.: Brag Men, most people think that they're just tall stories) or even oral tradition (e.g.: Nika). Places like Little Garden, located at the beginning of the Grand Line, are still uncharted to most countries. Devil Fruits are considered folklore in the East Blue. And so on.

Even if someone is massively relevant as Xebec, it's still easy to forget about them in a generation or two if nobody talks about them anymore (Xebec's a blast, but he's just a menacing wanted poster for most people).
