Problem with that is that in the 100YQ Laxus doesn't have his thunder lacrima anymore. He took it from his his body during his battle against Kirin.

What is a shame because I really like your idea about a earth thunder dragon dual mode

God serena also got Light and shadow like other 2 third generations.

there can easily be more than one lacrima of the same type, since there's likely more than one lighting dragon, much like how Igneel is the fire dragon king but there are other fire dragons that serve him for example Atlas Flame

Like @Yoho already said, there are many dragons of the same element.

Plus, God Serena has the light and darkness element. Sting has the white "element" and Rogue the shadow "element" so they use different dragon slayer magic.

Too bad we never saw God Serenas full potential, with his 8 elements he could use so many different spells.

It be cool but useless dude is rarely in a situation where he actually needs to use his devil slaying magic and since Gray vs END story line went poof he honestly doesn't even need it we saw in tartaros arc you don't actually need demon slaying magic to defeat demons

But if he does get one a Flame-Ice Demon Slayer would be dope

I like the devil slayer magic and the form, it looks cool.

But what I dislike about the whole devil slayer storyline and power up is....it doesn't make sense. Like you said, they never need devil slayer magic to defeat demons. The second point, we never saw how Gray eat his element in his case "ice" not even in his battles against ice users like Invel in the Alvarez arc or Hakune in the Elentir arc. What makes the whole devil slayer power up somehow useless.

It makes him stronger and it looks cool but the main ability (eating his own element) was never used lol
