Aluza and the blade chick would be great backup against scissor runner and armor dude and ash guy and can backup Laxus against Levia.

We have dragons as enemies, so why not using the guild full of dragon slayers?


Yes or Suzaku against the Scissor dragon and Misaki can help Erza against Motherglare. Haku the little boy and Kiria can help Lucy and Wendy.

It would also make more sense if more DS helps them against dragons who are maybe even stronger than the dragon gods.

Not a bad chapter, still setting up the fights. And ofc I didn't buy Juvia & Gray being defeated. Lol at Gray's slip of the tongue, yes we all know you're in love with Juvia, you can admit all that and go on as a couple.
Juvia kinda reminds me of Sanji but with a single target with her Gray-sama gags, probably she's going to get better once she is secure in her relationship.

I also didn't thought they would be defeated, but I think they could still lose in the next few chapters.

I miss a Lucy and Juvia team battle, like the one in the ToH arc (many, many years ago), it's time that she fights with other characters and not always with Gray.

Yes same, but not only her, it’s the same with others too, like Lucy and Wendy, they are always with Natsu or all 3 together like in the battle against Jackal. But we never had a Gray and Wendy team battle or Gray and Lucy, Erza and Lucy, Natsu and Juvia, Laxus and Wendy, Laxus and Gray or Laxus and Erza, Gajeel and Juvia, Natsu and Laxus, etc.

But what I dislike about Juvia is like you said everything is about Gray, not only the battles of her, but also her other moments and thats annoying. I wish we would see more of her friendship with Gajeel, Lucy, Lisanna, Meredy.

I doubt that too, we saw that in her last battle against Gate, she saved Meredy and her first comment was about Gray.....

I believe that because some matchups don’t have a DS in the team, so I don’t see how they can win. Well of course if we don’t count plotarmor, but not even Mashima did such a plotarmor things so far where characters without DS have won against a dragon. But now I am afraid that his can happen

I hope not, there is a reason why it's called devil slayer magic and dragon slayer magic. We had 6 Demons but Mashima used Gajeel a dragon slayer instead of Gray a devil slayer to defeat one of the demons. Only because Gray is a main character and Gajeel not.

I think Ignia means the humans rivaling them in terms of power if the Calamity Bloods can defeat them other continents would be easy for them to claim and turn into their territory.

I don't know, imo Diabolos are stronger than characters like Gray, Juvia, Elfman, Gajeel, Oracion Seis, Mira, Lucy and Wendy.
The only ones who are stronger or on the same lvl like die BDSK are Laxus, Erza, Natsu and Brandish (If she is still on the continent).

So I am confused if the humans are really dead or not. Because I can't believe that Mashima would let Diabolos die just like that?

Plus we still have Athena and Elefseria somewhere, okay, they are not "humans" but still a problem for Ignias plan.

Well I think many have forgot him. He, Athena and Diabolos are just like some 0815 characters
I really don't know what Mashima is thinking.

I think if someone helps Lucy, it will be Mercphobia or maybe Selene.

But I also believe that they all will lose the first round, so maybe Lucy will not summon the Water dragon? Especially if this is not her main battle?
