How would you rank the Warlord crews in terms of how much you love or hate them, from your favorite crew to your least favorite one ?
I am not counting Cross Guild as it's an alliance between ex-warlords and was made after the end of the system. I am not counting the Blackbeard Pirates either, due to how short Blackbeard's time as a warlord was and that they are a Yonko crew, but you are free to do so.
My ranking is this:
- The Donquixote Pirates/Family are my favorite thanks in large part to Doflamingo but also due to the crew being the most fleshed-out and diverse in terms of designs, personalities and powers and of the more interesting and loving interactions and dynamics between the members of the crew.
- Baroque Works is my second favorite. Again this is partially due to Crocodile who's one of the best antagonists of One Piece, but also due to their various powers and designs, bickering interactions, and of how iconic they were as the first major antagonist organisation of One Piece.
- Thriller Bark crew is far below the Donquixote Family and Baroque Works in terms of how much I like them, but I did enjoy Moria as a character and antagonist, and I do have a liking for Halloween and horror monsters theme, though I do wish that the crew had more interesting members and had been more fleshed out in terms of personalities and history and powers, they feel really underwhelming compared to the aforementionned crews.
* The Sun Pirates, thanks to its history with Fisher Tiger and Arlong, and its captain being Jinbei.
- The Heart Pirates, though this is uniquely thanks to Trafalgar Law, their submarine and design. Otherwise the Heart Pirates are largely forgettable.
- The Buggy Pirates. The crew had some funny moments at the beggining of the story, and Buggy has still lots of comedic moments and interactions with Galdino/Mr 3. Though other than the two there is no particularly interesting member of the crew.
- The Kuja Pirates. While there are many Kuja with various designs, the crew suffers from a great lack of characterization and memorability, for the members that aren't Boa Hancock, have pretty much all the same haki power and fighting style, and I am not too fond of Hancock anyway.
