Fighting Foodons was during it's time on FoxBox (in North America) One of the crazier shows 4kids chose to dub in the early days of bring Anime to the West.
But looking back at it the craziness and wackiness of it felt natural to the show given how the whole concept of the series was so outlandish to begin with.

I watched this as a kid along with Medabots, Monster Rancher, and whatever else was on back in the day. Cool show.
