How did you get from null to slight town?

I started having some doubts on Yoho after my discussion with Melkor(3rd quote) and all the talks about the previous One Piece game. But at the start yes, I kinda like how he was, just fluffing, I know he's fluffing a lot but he didn't look opportunistic. At the end, I've seen I had nothing to push other than him and decided to follow the town in his lynch
