More views on youtube,TikTok and any platform, Naruto fanpages have more followers than one piece officals and Fanpages combined lol, Naruto is an icon for most regions while Its not same for one piece. Hell even boruto gets more fans/views/followers just because naruto appears some times, just check youtube instagram and everywhere and see how much of bigger fandom Naruto has. I love both, maybe One piece more but lets not be delusional

None of those are a way of gauging popularity, and it's not surprising that Naruto beats One Piece on all of those because those are predominantly western platforms.

Forget taste for a second, cause writing style preferences are subjective, but objectively Naruto is loaded with plot holes and contradictions to a much greater extent than One Piece. Naruto is a guide on how not to write a story. That's not to say there aren't things Naruto does better than One Piece (mainly just fight choreography), but overall it fails to do what it sets out to do on multiple levels.

I have no problem with someone criticizing One Piece, post skip is loaded with faults, but you can't be bringing up Naruto.

There is pretty much no consistency with anything in Naruto. Kishi can't even keep consistent with who the strongest Hokage was, he changed his mind every 20 chapters.

You gotta shut your brain off if you want to enjoy Naruto, it has great fights, some really cool characters, but everything around that was a dumpster fire of contradictions and plot holes. It doesn't help when your MC is one of the biggest contradictions in the show like you said.

It also blows my mind that in a show with so much thought put into the fights, you can summarize Naruto's fighting style with this one meme.

I also find it funny you are making fun of Naruto using raseigan a lot of times, whereas Luffy uses the same punches in every fight. Basically all the same moves but with different names. Luffy goes in base then g2 for stronger punches, then g4 for stronger punches, how exciting.
