1. Kingdom (my personal favourite and my first recommendation for you an epic War Manga with a Top MC and great side Charachters.

2. One Punch Man (a Hero Manga with THE best Art outhere) and great Fights + Charachters

3. Berserk (Top Tier Art as well with a epic Story and arguably the Best MC outhere)

I would recommend you to start with Kingdom tho

If you want some Sport Mangas definetly need to read Slam Dunk

And yet, this forum does revolve around OP, regardless of whether it is good or bad. I have never understood that behavior because when something doesn't hold my interest, or I think it is terrible, I don't waste ANY of my time on it. However, as they say, "To each their own."

I'm new to the manga industry,so i'm not the right person to give recommendations.
What i said about the manga industry is not about the current content,but about the potential of its future.
Because the manga reading and publishing format is far superior to western comics,the manga industry is on its way to dominating the comics industry worldwide.
OP's descent into worthlessness was helpful to me. It made me aware of all the things i don't like in a story,and now i'm a pickier person than i was before. This is why a large part of the manga series out there don't meet my standards,as they fall into the same outdated cliches as OP. But when i find a manga that match my taste,i value it to the fullest.
For now,i can recommend you Sakamoto Days. It has the qualities i listed: Interesting plot,well-rounded cast,villains written with respect. It has a slow start,as it follows the tendency of the opening chapters of a manga to be about the protagonist showing off against chump villains. The real plot starts in chapter 15 and is a lot of fun.
