Yamato is not a confirmed Strawhat but Oda portrayed the theme of freedom which beoadly reminds me of Nami and a few other SHs specifically.
I think it's pretty evident how she has hardly any business in staying. She likely doesn't necessarily care that much about personally contributing in making the country prosper as that's something Momo and the Scabbards can attain in the upcoming years.

In theory, the purpose of ryou is to do internal damage without touching it.
Which we saw clearly in Zoro's attack. Although Zoro cuts Kiado, Kaido is unaffected.
Sanji's DJ is basically set to give internal damage. It's like some kind of attack ryous.
So, a DJ upgraded with haki can damage Kaido. But for this, Sanji must have a CoC, most likely.
