General & Others Food for thought

What if humans of our world actually have the power to create universes through storytelling, if a story is spread and heard by a specific number of people, it becomes it’s own universe

I actually believe this, what if somewhere, out there, Luffy and the rest actually exists?

If multiversal travel exist, I wanna go and tell them that I came from the future and that Luffy will become the pirate king

The idea is interesting, after all, some think in the infinity of possibilities and such creation would technically necessitate only artificial self-aware intelligence and the creation of a simulation in which said universe is possible. (with its rules)

So technically, the premisses for the One Piece universe could be created... but practically, you would probably end up with a very different result.

The nature of a story is that it is not a realistic iteration of reality and its material conditions, but a romanticization of said reality, so shortcuts in plotpoint, characters and in law universes are the norm. This is most likely impossible to create in such universe. If you constrain it, perhaps, but if you leave it to evolve on its own, you would probably end up with far more differences between the old and the new version the One Piece world than you would get between the current One Piece world and our own reality.

My theory is that if enough number of people read/watch a story and think about it, they have the power of creating a reality based on that, thus a parallel universe is born.
