Luffy needed to make a pose and pump himself to enter Gear 2. Now he can skip that due to proficiency and training.

Sanji needed to spin to lit his legs on fire. Now he is so fast he can skip tha... Oh, no. We dont allow Sanji to be more proficient. DJ is not friction for sure.

I recall he could achieve that without. Or at least no movement was displayed. Now it is so perhaps he indeed needed no spin or he was just gaining friction with supersonic speed but I'm not that confident.

I am referring to the G2 pose (Blueno chapter). The first showcase of post timeskip is literally Luffy's proficiency in G2, he used it straight away and only in one part of his body.

1. I think that statement is referring to why Sanji doesnt get burnt/hurt by his own flames (since he/his heart burns hotter).

That statement and the friction statement is not mutually exclusive, both can go hand in hand. As in:

- To start G2/DJ, they need to pump/spin. Evidence: early EL chapter & before DJ finisher move chapter.
- To maintain the flames, Sanji input his passion "energy". Evidence: SBS.

Post TS he doesnt need to spin because a simple friction is enough to start DJ. Same as skywalk, Luffy notices that Geppou needs someone to kick ten times so fast. You dont see those kicks to start Skywalk, so you dont need to see spinning to start the friction.

2. Some panels in WCI tells us that RS is heat immune/resistant.

What do you think of these two points?
