Isnt what oda s doing kinda lame?
Goofy same words as roger,looked like young roger ,apparently has a dream like roger
Zoro and ray ,same outfit as god valley ray,eye scars ,chest scars ,swordsmen,first members
Gabum,preacher of love same as lanji etc

What are the opinions?

Yeah, forced parallels is disgusting.

I can at least tolerate the Rayleigh/Zoro parallels.
Rayleigh is a womanizer and gambler, seems like complete opposite of Zoro. Only the eye scar is a thing. And maybe swordsman too, but Roger pirates were mainly weapons users anyway.
The parallel is more subtle, so it's fine.

Roger used to have a completely different aura pretimeskip.
But Loda couldn't help himself and force parallels. Identical persona and dream, wtf. And hence Gold Roger became Gold Luffy.

The Sanji thing is quite obvious too. Minister of love, Luffy outright saying he's like Sanji, etc.

Ray and zoro are two completely different people

not even the same hair , ray wears glasses , whole different personality who loves women and gambling. It’s so forced might as well let zoro be his own thing

Roger pirate most of them was weapon users
