While Zoris Best freind is kuina and next one is Luffy, In wano( Zoro's arc ) oda builded some Franky-Zoro relationship

My fav Scenes:

after this scene, i just realise Franky is more connect with zoro in Onigashima,Wano more than any of other Strawhat in the crew(exclude luffy)

and now zoro loses fucking amount of blood, will franky save him?

also the panel where Franky-Zoro said he will lead wano Samurai + Frankys anti Kaido's weapon

seems like Zoros 2nd best friend is already carrying the anti-kaido weapon, isnt he

I see Zoro and Luffy's relationship as a sibling thing. The relationship with Chopper almost like father and son, and friend can be Usopp or Franky

Franky is like in the middle spectrum in terms of relationship with Zoro. I'd say Sanji, Luffy, Chopper, maybe Usopp gets along with Zoro more than Franky.

I really like Nami's interactions with Usopp because they are very similar, with Zoro I see she has a lot of respect but there are few moments that require her to show it, as it was in Thriller Bark or Usopp's situation in Water 7.

It might sound weird but I like it when they argue lol, Nami and Zoro are opposites in just about everything including ideology, which is why they disagree on a lot of things. The most notable instances are after Enies Lobby and during Zou, where coincidentally both instances were about crewmates leaving and whether or not to go after them. They have very different takes on how the situations should be approached and what’s interesting is that for Usopp, Zoro was portrayed to be “correct” while for Sanji, Nami was the one whose advice was ultimately followed.

I stole this analysis from Morj but I liked the way he talked about their dynamic in this video, especially in regards to Luffy

(the claim he makes in this video is unimportant to this though lol)

Their banter is fun to follow too, like during Whisky Peak or Skypeia, it’s just a shame they’ve rarely been together post-timeskip

I hesitate to call them best friends. Close for sure. They are crewmates. They are a dynamic I sort of like for how they both reflect different types of traditional masculinity. Zoro’s an old school style Japanese samurai, who adheres to bushido, with a strong sense of loyalty and principles. There’s some hint of Dirty Harry, too, in how he carries himself against enemies.

Franky is a western, specifically americana, with a hint of Japanese bancho. He lives by a more nebulous code of honor, which fits his US appeal of independence and individualism.

There’s an unspoken brotherhood between these two because of their masculine nature and facing danger head on, and it’s why they have the utmost respect for the other. In trying times, it’s good to know someone with as much guts as you has your back. Two of my brothers are soldiers, and I think they could better explain what I’m getting at.
