Speculations Fujitora and Smoker vs Cross Guild?

-Could be the case but i dont see them winning if thats really happening unless they bring another Top Tier in their Ranks.
-Mihawk is the strongest Charachter now in OP (leaving out the likes of Imu/Gorosei/Dragon due to lack of knowledge about them) so Fujitora cant beat him in a 1v1 i dont see any Admiral or Old Garp beating him in a 1v1

However, he's never, not once, been depicted as an elite fighter. Even in his retconned form, where Oda was on a revenge tour, he could not handle Jozu's speed. Vergo is far too well rounded to not give Crocodile trouble.

Not only can Vergo achieve speeds that would have Crocodile thinking he's fighting flash, but Vergo hits like an absolute truck too. Crocodile would be fighting for his life, I reckon something along the lines of awakening would be needed if he's not in a suitable environment. Either that or Vergo gets too comfortable, (which is in character tbh) and Crocodile dries him up.
You sound like those delusional Kidd stans rn. Crocodile is a dangerous, smart individual, with a fruit much stronger than 99% of this verse. And he can probably defeat characters stronger than Vergo easily due to his abilities (Jack, maybe even Cracker though that might be a reach).

I didn't say Crocodile is getting one shotted, did I? He's definitely gonna be feeling those attacks. Vergo is the same dude who cracked Sanji's leg without even using his super hard armament.
Out of respect for Crocodile's portrayal I'll say he pulls the victory off, after being beaten senseless initially, Vergo is bound for a lapse (he takes too many attacks at times) and Crocodile eventually dries him up.

Crocodile like I said intentionally by Oda has been depicted as a below average fighter, he's a cunning individual with a dangerous fruit. A hakiman like Vergo who honed his armament and fighting skills to near perfection is a huge problem for Crocodile.
Anyhow getting far too off topic here. Smoker is not a stagnant character, the reason I say same level is because Smoker has always jumped several levels everytime he reappeared in the story.
He's one of the few characters who is actually dynamic as far as power level is concerned. Crocodile is not, he was just a mistake and so Oda retconned him, we know who Crocodile is we saw his retconned version in Marineford, and granted his retconned version is above PH Smoker. However, Smoker is like Coby, like Luffy, like the strawhats, in that he just keeps growing as the story progresses (not only in rank but in strength).
Crocodile is definitely not clearing the commander range, and that range is in sight for an improved Smoker.
