Funimation’s DVD/Blu-Ray Releases

Hello everybody.

I’ve just recently purchased Funimation’s first four DVD collections of the series, and was disappointed to learn that they’ve used single-layered 4.7 GB discs, as opposed to DL 8.5GB. Consequently, there’s much macro-blocking on the video.

I assume that, eventually, they switch to DL discs. Does anyone know at which point this is?

...Why would anyone here know that? This isn’t Funimation customer service, I didn’t know they were even still operational. Welcome to the forum and all, but I don’t think you’re gonna get a satisfactory answer on this, at least not one you couldn’t have gotten just by Googling it yourself.

I may have bought a counterfeit. As far as I know, they’re all on DVD9 DL discs. Thanks anyway.
