Powers & Abilities Future sight and Ryou are now obsolete

All that time wasted in WCI to develop future sight and all that time wasted in Wano part 1 and 2 to develop ryou are all for nothing because now the new hype is about awakening. Future sight turned out to be nothing more than just another fodder tool. And Ryou turned out to be.... i don't even know what was the point of Ryou.

Internal penetration armament to advCoC transition was abysmal. Redundant af. Awakening isn't the issue, it just means the sum of the other PUs were not enough for Kaidou, he needs an extra thing. It's not that awakening alone was the solution.

Here's the issue: although the author is responsible for making the story easy to understand, he isn't actually responsible for the things you don't understand.

All this I say because there's no such thing as Ryou and if you can't read correctly then your complaint is kinda silly. You're arguing with the narrative by using shit you made up

Future sight was overrated from the start, when people would talk about how Luffy had become too strong with the ability. I suppose maybe of regular observation let you see a second or two ahead or predict based on the opponent, future sight gives more time and applies to more general situations. But then... ot requires a lot of concentration. Reacting to the future while dealing with the present has always sounded easier than some manga made it look anyway, but we explicitly see that one has to keep cool when using future sight.

So a disheveled Katakuri let it slip, and
Luffy has faltered due to his own disposition. He came up short in the headbutt competition against Ulti because he admittedly underestimated her. More significantly, it can't answer what it doesn't understand as was the case with Apoo. It also isn't the same thing as actually being faster, so Kaido's anticipated blow was still glancing in chapter 1001.

The advanced Haki that Luffy learned is probably underrated on the other hand. In the narrative it functions because not only is Luffy much stronger with it, but he was able to free Yamato. With the cuffs on Yamato couldn't possibly stand against Kaido and likely would have been limited as an ally aside from that, too. No, it wasn't enough to fight Kaido but because Luffy had actually gone beyond the armament level he even intended, he could realize that armament wasn't the answer, which goes along with him figuring out the current stage of Haohshoku.

Lol, looks like we find something to agree on. Future sight died with Katakuri fight and ryou will die with wano.

I hope it becomes useful but knowing Oda it is mostly only going to be used against fodder moving forward. The time where Katakuri level of hype where FS was used will no longer occur.

Dude, you are complaining over semantics. You know damn well that Ryou has been used by the fandom to refer to advance armament.
Has been used by the fandom. Shit used by the fandom to complain about stuff not used at all by the actual story. I still explained my point on the relevance of the advanced armament but I think you can get rid of shit you made up if you really want to critique the story.
