Gaban is going to reveal how to PAUSE the Regen. That’s what he did to Sommers. He PAUSED his Regeneration

Oda is doing something good here. He’s separating the Regen merchants from the logias

With logias, if you hit them with Haki they take permanent damage. Even if they turn back into their element forms, the permanent Damage you hit them with doesn’t disappear without the same human medicine and healing of a regular person

Regen merchants are likely going to be LEGIT immortal and even with Whatever Gaban is doing, he’s only PAUSING the Regen… Meaning he’s doing something to stop their regeneration from this damage but there’s something the Merchants can do to restart their regen again and make the damage disappear


So the only way of beating these Regen merchants is to knock them out or kill them faster than their regen can be restarted to remove any damage

Oh so no one is going to beat them? The final fights of many characters will just be stall fights… stall until Luffy beats Imu or Imu kills them himself… Incredible… Incredible final fights… Even Naruto was better with its own immortal final war army

We've seen Joy Boy seal his Haki, so maybe it's possible to learn to keep your Haki inside your Opponent, restricting them from accessing their Regeneration which imo is Linked to something in Mary Geoise, either Imu himself or some Power Source, meaning if you use your Haki as Disruptive it can jam the Signal, preventing Holy Knights from Regeneration + Whatever else They are receiving,

But if this is really the case, i wonder who discovered their Secret & how it reached Roger Pirates,
