I found this image and topic on reddit so I am curious what you think .

I find manga version better because anime makes it look like a nuke attack not Acoc attack. I cant even say its Acoc in anime more like Kaido did boro breath.

It was definitely like a mini nuke going off the manga but Toei exaggerated it a bit

Anime version overrate feats like usual. From visual point of view anime looked way better. From consistency point , it was garbage. Totally different type of attack.

I agree that Toei exaggerated (and that’s a good thing for anime imo) but anyone judging from these pictures are not being fair. Post the actual full manga screenshot instead of close ups and small panels.

Imo the manga shot was amazing but obviously wasn’t going to surpass the colored anime. Manga shots that were colored by fans on the other hand:
