Controversial Garp should be fired

#21
Garp is a nuke, it is better to keep him and see him fade away then let him join other organization like the revolution or neo navy. His reputation will reel up a lot of people to break off from marine.

No one in the marine is able to defeat Garp.

Akainu is afraid to get revenged by Garp.

Oda is going to make another Movie that Garp is the villain.

If anything, Garp should be given more responsibilities in the background. Give him an entire island somewhere close to Mariejois and let him train hundreds of Marine recruits. This keeps him occupied and maintains him as a potential asset to defend MJ when necessary.

In case you haven't noticed. The marines suffer a desperate lack of capable men.
They've only a handful powerful guys, especially considering they have the entire world to recruit and a much larger pool to chose from than pirates have.

I suppose it's due to the fact that stronger will = stronger person (=stronger haki) kinda is the rule in OP.
And which strong man wants to follow rules from others? All powerful ones in the marines have their own mind and agenda. But the HR is screening for the opposite in their applications: obedience and reliability.

Proven by the fact that the first public hiring the marines did gained them 2 powerful admirals. Because they weren't searching for marine material. But mainly screened for power.

So no. They won't fire Garp even if he rapes a CD on Akainu's desk. It's the lesser evil to have guys like Garp around than to have them on enemy side.
