Ifrit is only made possible because of how much of a tank Sanji becomes with the combination of CoA + exoskeleton(no such thing as blue flames without exoskeleton).

The blue flame wasn’t a product of the exoskeleton. Sanji using exoskeleton doesn’t automatically boost Sanjis fire heat, it’s something he instead adds.

Sanji using/having Exo on top his CoA allowed his body to withstand a hotter flame, which is blue.

So blue flame can only happen when his Exoskeleton (and CoA) is active.

If his Exo isn't active, there is no blue flame.
If his Haki isn't active, there is no blue flame.

DJ = 1
Haki = 2
Exoskeleton = 3

DJ + Haki + Exoskeleton = IJ
1 + 2 + 3 = 6

This is why despite having Haki, Sanji's DJ still have the same color as Sanji's DJ without Haki.

The mode is generally stronger, faster with more powerful flames(blue flames) because exoskeleton+CoA is giving him a boost in every category, as mentioned in the panel I posted.

He needs CoA+exoskeleton to withstand the extreme intense heat of the blue flames.

There’s canonically no difference except for stylistic choice. We’ve seen that outright when Oda showed the same scene one with Black CoA and one without. Combine this with Oda saying CoA is invisible. We know it’s invisible.

Ifrit just means blue flames, which already have DJ, haki & exoskeleton component.

Just like G2, which have DF + speed component.

But you don't consider Ifrit as blue flames, but blue flames + x. As in, Ifrit is the total strength. But that's not the case.

Total strength depends on IJ + whatever technique Sanji used.

So for example, IJ + Beef Burst is stronger than IJ + Collier.

This is why we call Luffy's mode as Gear 2, regardless if he used Jet Pistol or Jet Gatling.

Same with Sanji, we call his blue flame mode as Ifrit Jambe, regardless of his Total Damage like you're implying.

We don't know what and how a black blade like Mihawk's is made, so any assumption is not canon. If anything, it is more possible a great swordsman turning a CoA who is supposed to be invisible to be actually black.

1. Sanji with the basic form of armament. Showing off things like full body and a shark skin like technique
   • Could be a cool parallel between him and Jinbe
2. Zoro with the 2nd level of armament aka emissions. With him finally making a full black blade
3. Luffy with the final form of armament aka internal. Maybe he can harden his bones or something idk
