I have already uploaded a theory on gear 5th that you can do and read its the only other thing that I've posted before this.
Today i would like to revamp said theory because i think i have new ideas that make it (imo) the ULTIMATE GEAR 5TH THEORY!!!!!
So here's the tldr:
Gear 5th will be basically gear 2nd but times 10. This causes Luffy's body heat to increase by an insane amount and catch fire whenever he moves or attacks.
Now i had a lot of different ideas that would go along with this idea but ive decided to seperate it into "Stages"
I believe there will be 1 arc between Wano and Raftel and i will elaborate on that in a different theory that i will post eventually.
Point is, each arc starting at wano will show a new stage for gear 5th (similarly to the gear 4th forms).
Stage 1: at wano in the final battle against Kaido, Luffy will activate gear 5th and start catching on fire when he attacks. which will improve his attack damage, speed, and attack speed (and also the stretchiness of his body).
Stage 2: in the arc after wano Luffy wil activate gear 5th stage 2, which will be basically gear 2nd times 15 (instead of the times 10 of stage 1) this will cause his blood to create strong streams of electricity within his and in his nerves, causing an enormous boost in speed, attack speed, attack damage and defense (ultra instinct style dodging).
I should mention that this idea for electricity in the nerves is not my own theory but i incorporated it into my theory (https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/forum/threads/luffys-gear-5th-nerves.14540/)
Stage 3: at raftel in the final battle Luffy will awaken stage 3 which will be a g2 times 20 and will cause his blood to boil.
The bubbles from the boiling will cause his body to increase twice in size (real life thing that happens when your blood boils) which will give him a boost in attack damage, defense, and the speed and attack speed from the 20x g2.
this idea for stage 3 also makes a lot of sense since blackbeard is exactly 2 times Luffy's height and I'm assuming that the final battle at raftel will be against blackbeard.
Personally i am very confident in this theory and i believe at least part of it will come true.
I suggest going back and reading my original gear 5th theory because this is more of a part 2 to it then anything.
