However i hope mods here don't feel too critical with my second statement . I hope they change the banner it doesn't look good maybe its my opinion its upto you guys . Overall i am absolutely stunned by the genuine welcome here not even my parents welcome me when i visit them home .

I am from catalan so most parents here dont like to show emotional bonds to their children . That's one of the reason why most of us learnt to be independent just like americans .

I'm American... but I also still live with my mother... its just a case by case, financially and other things.
There's no reason why a parent should be distant towards their child... but maybe it's the Nature vs Nurture thing.

We have financial problem as well , spain was already in melting pot with high unemployment because of our incompetent government in Madrid .

Also Corona was not helping matter by the way i would say catalan was hit badly , i had to share my accommodation with a friend of mine its tough time here .
