Sadly Macron choosed the authoritarian road, instead of listening and put the police against him, he choosed to listen to his fear of the police and did nothing but.. adding thousand more policemen in the streets..

No I won't because instead of giving me a way to do things differently in a desesperate situation, you prefer me to say "riot = bad". This is completely without nuance and in complete ignorance of the situations that create said riots.
No. Rioting puts pressure on the police and therefore put pressure on the power because the power needs the police as a last resort defenser.
There is a method in rioting. Usually its not meant to affect your local bar, but big corporations and places of power such as policestation and place of states.
Of course there are always stupid people that will bypass the limit and do stupid things butyou must understand that the purpose of a riot is to put a pressure on the power to make it take a step back.
This is pure militantism. Yes violent, but legitimate in a situation where nothing can be done to arrange the situation.
Far too many things these days lead to riots , this talk of nothing else can be done to arrange the situation is horseshit for most occasions and ironically more often than not , the riot has changed nothing
but instead just attached a negative label to people who endorse the ideology.
MLk wasnt the greatest civil rights voice but he was the most prominent one . its really not hard to figure out why.

riots arent a leftist thing either so I honestly dont see why logiko is defending it
the idiots that had riots during the lockdown
and the ones that hurled themselves at the capitol arent leftist .
Just to remind you, the protest in France begun in january and strong. It was peaceful.
Do you know what the answer of the state was ? Repression.
Before the riot and the death of Nahel we had YEARS of protest to denounce the problem of the police in France, as we have multiple case of police violence each month and years. The answer to those manifestation ? Repression and negation
THe riot after the death of Nahel is just the answer of a people we don't listen to. Its perfectly legitimate. Ok, there was stupid people throwing stone at firemen or looting small store, but those people (the others) almost got the job done, being forcing the power to take a step back.

The difference between leftist riot and rightwing riot is that rightwinger (or more precisely, altrightist) attack the power to change the state and the state of democracy.
Leftist riots are not aimed at the constitution, the people of the states or the democracy, its aimed at the police and power in place to make it take a step back.
Rightwing riot are made because of conspirationnism and bigotry
Leftist riot are made because of anger.
