Also, the reason I'm not informed is I have chosen not to be, the couple of stories I have heard makes me uneasy and increase my anxiety so I avoid those topics.

You should not have anxiety, is on the other side of the world for most of the west, also, most people are completely not involved. US sends money to Israel, Millions. Taxpayers money, and Europe sells weapons and other things. As such, we are still participating via our governments.

I think you misunderstand. I'm the type of person who cries at everything and things linger with me. It's not that it makes me scared. Which I find strange I can't watch the news of it, but I do binge crime documentaries, but I think that's because they disconnect you from the victims and focus on evidence/forensics.
You seem to have more empathy that any conservative I've encountered here. I think those comments of yours were therefore not the sign of bigotry and rather a lack of information. So Im coming back on my words calling you a bigot. I'm sorry for that.

I have not made a judgement of his character nor his choice.
I have a belief that shielding yourself and hiding the truth to yourself makes you a prey for any bad actor that want to manipulate you, and is your duty to protect yourself from being used and manipulated. This is my belief and how i try to live, but would be crazy to believe that everyone wants or should think and behave like me.

I am only happy when people pursue their passions. Between life and laziness i am not doing myself, so i will do my thing tomorrow thinking about this!
