Beauty standards are subject to constant change. 30 years ago nobody cared about big butts and now look ho wit has changed. Face standards changed too. Take a look at models from the 1910s and 20s that were considered the epitome of beauty back then. They'd be considered below average by today's standards. Or the whole tan skin/pale skin thing etc etc etc…
And then there's personal preference. Not everyone likes the mainstream beauty standard

Depends on the country. Btw White people can be systemically racist against other white ethnicities.
It took me 5 years to understand all of that (and its a very basic understanding, I'm really not radical). I bet - clever as he is - that he can do it in one.
And this is just one of them. There is endless videos of kids and parents taking these books to their school board their kids found in the library. It's the left that is fighting to keep these books there against the parents wishes.
From my understanding, they don't want to ban porn. Though they do not hesitate to say that porn is simultaneously exploitative and empowering. It's odd.
I totally understand the "unrealistic beauty standards" argument, but there are attractive people irl. No need to push against attractive people in video games just cause you're ugly af lmao
Tbh most people are relatively good looking, only a handful are "ugly" per say. Usually when people say somebody is "ugly" they just don't fit their personal preference
I never really heard of them wanting to remove it from the internet that honestly is news to me, but I do know they are fine with the content for elementary children.

I donno dude. I know a lot of unattractive people - but I think a lot of them could BECOME attractive if they just looked after themselves. For example, a lot of people get unhealthily overweight. Whilst sometimes there are reasons for it beyond their control, a lot of the time it is a symptom of someone who does not look after themselves and thus it becomes unattractive.
It can be a sign of poor mental health or stability (which is actually unattractive to people usually - perhaps not even consciously). Poor hygiene is another issue, which I think also feeds into the idea that people find being unhealthy unattractive.
We're biologically preprogramed to care about our partners being healthy. Might be wrong though.

isn't this impossible? relatively means compared to everybody around them no? If you're good looking compared to everybody around you that means the rest are lesser looking.
Anyways I kinda agree that ugly people are rare, which is why I don't get this obsession with taking away attractiveness in art.
I personally think we should eliminate all forms of Porn. It is destructive for young men and women alike. It does something to our brains and ruins our ability to have healthy relationships or sexual expectations. Anyone who says otherwise is coping.
thats inky because if the unrealistic beauty standards in porn.
Banning porn wont end porn comsumption. Like banning drugs and alcohol doesnt end drug and alcohol consumption and bamning abortions doesnt end abortions. We cant tell peoole what not to do and expext them not to do it. Thats not how human psychology works

I don't think it will end porn consumption. Nor do I think banning it would work in any form. It's just a wish of mine, as I know many who were fucked up by porn addiction (I was, once upon a time, alongside my myriad past issues).
But I do think we need to be open about the dangers porn can have on young minds (and adult minds, tbh). If we explained what it can do to the brain it might actually help... kind of like how we didn't ban cigarettes, we just made it clear what it does to you (and ever since smoking has decreased).
