...Crazy? Maybe. Dumb? I doubt that. Politicians are the same everywhere. Have the grunts do the dirty work while they chill somewhere. Radiation poisoning would ruin their good life. Nuke warfare isn't happening. Just like nobody used chemical weapons in ww2. I'm more worried about biological warfare. Covid gave us an idea how that would work out.
China won't do shit. India has 127 Billion dollars trade with China. At worst, China can lend some indirect support which won't be new. Furthermore, because of QUAD and US activism, China hands are tied. Russia won't back them either due to ongoing engagement in Ukraine and good ties with India.
As far as India attack on Pakistan is concerned, then 26 people were killed in a terrorist attack.
And, then their Defence Minister, openly admits to Sky News that they had been training Terrorists.

Do you realize what 3 decades of training, arming and radicalizing youths can do? Do you realize the sheer numbers of these radicalized youths ready to do terror attacks?
India only attacked "terrorist infrastructures" last night. No further plans.
Pakistan with already crashing economy can't afford war with India. At worst, Pakistan would try to do something similar under political pressure but on minimal scale to show citizens that they acted.
And, if they are insane enough to go beyond it... Fitting response would come .
