yep,but people learn stuff by debating.But i don't know if a politics thread is desirable in a forum for anime/manga consumers.There are like a dozen forums dedicated to this out there.Do we need this here?

Yeah this simply ain’t the place for something like politics, I remember on OJ they never really entertained this but things still got heated with statements in profile posts and the presidential election threads they did allow to be posted. So people can gonna get heated no matter what but this is the gasoline for flame wars.

For example a Azeri and Armenian user during the conflict a year ago aren't just gonna "kindly" debate it on a thread here, it would get extremely ugly
