He's a champagne socialist, just a grifter. All talk and money, no action. May as well controlled opposition or how the alt right has been getting paid by Russia to spread misinformation and incite hate etc.
A lot of people point out he's unironically a narcissistic sociopath and I believe it from what I've seen. Even Mr Freeze would call him cold hearted.
Anyone who abuses animals like that with no remorse is inhumane. Plus he said America deserved 9/11. My aunt was meant to be in the WTC that day but miraculously wasn't. Unfortunately thousands of people were not so lucky ofc and he's making light of that, the sicko.

Anark, someone I talk about, works a tutoring job, but also works for free with an organization he and other libertarian socialists created called Cooperation Tulsa, manual labour planting and taking care of crops to give out food and create a source of food for the community there where they can produce their own food so to say I think, and sell some of it for profit

I mean, social democrats are better than one of the two parties, if I had to choose I would rather they win, but that's a lesser evil, not the good that should be achieved, which is the economy being run by the workers directly democratically, not by shareholders

This is the truth sadly.
Exactly man. These millionaires, billionaires, trillionaires etc could help bring world peace, end world hunger, to save struggling nations and thus economic crises but the truth is, regardless of left or right, it's always been a class issue, wealth vs poverty, them vs us. Royalty and peasants.
They don't stay rich and powerful, at the very top by being humaniatrian. I've worked with charities and every single one of them were far more concerned with profits, making money than actually helping others, it made me sick. I left my jobs with them partially for those reasons.
Also in regards to Hasan, his uncle founded a certain youtube channel called The Young Turks and that's a hell of a name to choose...
The show's name Young Turks has been criticized and called for change due to the Committee of Union and Progress' conflation with the larger Young Turks political movement in the Ottoman Empire which was responsible for committing the Armenian genocide, the Assyrian genocide, and the Greek genocide.
This is a "left wing"group who have been gradually shifting towards "the centre" and now is getting all chummy with the far right after being criticised/scrutinised and such. Shoeonhead did the same thing and AFAIK the extremely racist and misogynistic, perverted, sick minded, abusive control freak Vaush is just as bad and I'd be surprised if he wasn't either.
To go back to what you said, I've heard the best ways to test a person's true character include see how they treat others who are more vulnerable than them, those who are more disadvantaged in anyway and anyone they see as lesser to them for any reason possible. Watch how they treat blue collar workers such as wait staff/fast food workers and bin collectors for example. How they treat children, animals, the elderly, disabled, queer even women etc.
Complete sickos like these exist on both the left and right, it just seems far more common on the right though. But that might just be bias too ofc.
Unfortunately I don't have any better answers for you, I'm struggling with the way the world is and is becoming, there are things we learn and see that we can't unlearn and unsee, things we can't forget no matter how hard we try yet certain rich, influential people can go daily without being affected by it because they're that densensitied to is, partially by debiliterate manipulation and avoidance or they're just that sociopathic/sick in the heard etc. Hasan has a lot of red flags in his treatment of women and thus probably why he abuses his (female) dog too and such but I digress.
