Hmmm personally? I Could careless if i'm being honest. They're kid's shows and cartoons meant to entertain and impact kids. If the people who have the rights to the characters want to change em, their choice.
Consumers have the choice not to support it with their money. For me it's just weird seeing men and women who are all grown getting heated over fictional cartoons and insulting each other (reddit/quora/twitter/etc are filled with it).
For example, If the one piece live action decided to make an all-japanese crew for the One Piece live action and Oda himself is fine with it despite the diversity in his series, I could careless. I only need to watch or read what I'll like. You just treat them as different characters, that's it. I already treat anime vs manga one piece as two completely different stories.
Attack on Titan even better example, it's based on a specific ethnicity, yet the live action is all Japanese. But I could careless, I didn't watch it due to the CGI and production not being something I like.
Kingdom was on point with their Chinese cast, but I didn't watch it cause hardly any of the mfs look like the actual cast.
It's only an issue for me if the creator of the original story isn't in agreement with it, that's it.
