Was reading this article. Apparently antisemitism in the Arab world wasn’t a major issue until relatively recently.
However the rise in antisemitism in the Arab world in the 20th century was caused by more than just Zionism.
A lot of antisemitic ideas from Europe and the nazis found their way to the Middle East. There was also Arab nationalism.

I think perhaps the Zionists weren’t completely wrong.
There was a need for Jewish people to be free in their ancestral land.
However, this should have been a secular, multicultural, and egalitarian state, rather than a Jewish ethnostate that required the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.
