The Unjustice on how they serve punishments isn't helping. You kill and you know you will be out with bail or some other shit soon enough.

The entirety of the land used to be theirs pre-independence. And ever since they have been killed, expelled, and ghettoized so that Jews, a minority of the population pre-independence, can control a majority of the land.
Until this issue is resolved, the Palestinians will always view Israelis as the evil occupiers who took their land.

Don’t need to let every Palestinian in all at once. But there has to be some sort of move towards eventual reunification.
Also, if israel reforms it’s government to include strong protections for minority rights, then even once Arabs become the majority, they won’t be able to oppress Jews.
Lastly, there has to be some sort of reparations on the part of Israel for the crimes it has committed against the Palestinian people. Without material reparations, the Palestinians will never truly forgive the Israelis.
But if all of that happens, then the power of groups like Hamas would eventually become irrelevant.

I find it absolutely deranged that there were campaigns to free the guy who assassinated Yitzak Rabin.

Yeah, a bunch of Arab countries are like that too and they have tried to normalize relationships with Israel. Also a secular state doesn't guarantee peace. You can literally look up a bit north and see how the Kurds have tried to break apart from largely secular states to form their own nation.
