I did a brief research on it, and there are conflicting debates on how premeditated the holocaust was. But from going through a bit of this, I think it makes a convincing argument that Hitler did premeditate the holocaust.

You simply want to win an argument going to those extremes. What I was saying is that your argument was invalid by quoting an alleged interview. You want to prove your point? prove with actual facts and not biased research paper. I could have found better arguments than you did . Look up hes speach before invasion to poland and read it. After reading more on the functionalism-intentionalism debate, I think the synthesis argument makes the most sense.
Hitler probably did orchestrate at least parts of the holocaust. However, I think its also true that there would have been nazis who were so radicalized in their hatred that they committed crimes that were not explicitly asked to commit.
Like you can see this in modern day far right behavior. Where neo nazi rhetoric just naturally inspires violence, even when nobody is explicitly calling for that violence.
Yet at the same time, imo Hitler definitely premeditated it to some extent. I find it hard to believe he could have committed a genocide of such proportions without seriously trying.

I think one thing you need to understand and ask questions about is this. Lehi is a militant terrorist group that is considered instrumental to establishing the state of Israel. People in this terrorist group later became major political figures in Israel. A former prime minister was a member. All of the leaders of Israel's government traditionally meet yearly on the leader Avraham Stern's grave to commemorate what he did. Israel gives medals to surviving Lehi members for service toward establishing Israel.
They tried multiple times to ally with not only Mussolini's fascist Italy, but to ally with Nazi Germany and Hitler directly, including during the very period of time the Holocaust was taking place.
These are the kinds of people who run Israel today. A direct lineage, admitted in public openly, to people who tried to make friends with Hitler DURING THE HOLOCAUST. Not only this, they assassinated multiple people involved with freeing Jews from the Nazis, like count falke bernadotte, and they routinely bombed trains and police stations and targeted civilians.
This is who Israel is. It isn't the Nazis, but it's people who wanted to join the Nazis
