Yes there is... That basically what copyright is here for mate. And do go around thinking that compagnies will randomly steal your ideas, that's not how it works. If there are some indeed rare cases of plagiarism in the industry compagnies are not stupid enough to infrige copyright laws. Plus, if you happen to deliver BY CHANCE an idea that is good enough to even reach the ears of a big compagny, what will happen is that you will most likely get a call to do more work for them.
Why would they risk to pass on a goldmine ?
Also, an idea is just an idea. its not copyrightable and don't get the wrong assumption that an idea is enough to succeed in anything.
That's why when you have actual creative content materialized (a screenplay, a drawing, a plan or anything else..) you get the automatic copyright as long as it is your work or the work of a person that agreed to give you the rights.

There are copyright report system all over the place and you can always sue them and win a lot of money, more than you it would cost you in the start. Don't worry, if there is something the world is not playing with, its copyright laws. If you have the proof that your rights have been violated, you will win without question, its not even a question.
That's why people know that they must not mess with plagiarism and copyright infrigment.
Copyright are not here to make it convenient for you the audience, they are here to protect the rights of the artists and the compagnies that creates these IP. They are entitled to do whatever they want with their creation. Even do very bad choice like choosing multiple plateforms of streaming.
If you do not agree with that. You can pirate those series and watch them with the same quality on a single plateform.
