Got a little too stoned this morning and a thought occurred - if corporations don’t want their employees demanding living wages, they shouldn’t have spent so many years steadily raising prices higher than the cost of living…they’d be making even more money if they kept shit affordable, a healthy economy is dependent on regular people being able to purchase both essentials and frivolities. As we all know, though, that incessant greed has led us here; the only problem is that they STILL got richer than God off the back of our collective labor, so they think the system’s working just fine. I will always resent the fact that they’re bleeding us dry and then they blame us for not putting more of the few dollars they give out back into their pockets, fucking capitalist pigs
