My favorite show has a couple episodes that have been banned from streaming because they have white actors painted up to look Black, and all the fans of color seem more pissed that they can’t watch those episodes than the reason why they’re not available. As long as it’s not overtly stereotypical like some Jazz Singer shit, it feels like the Black community is more concerned with the endless flow of actual racism that seeps out of every conservative’s trash mouth at all times and the legislation created for the same purpose; most of them would rather keep their rights than worry about what dumbasses do on TV programs. But I don't remember what sociologist say about this specific case. They should also face a form of racialization as they will adopt cultural, social and physical traits of the racialized group, but maybe it's different in their case, I know there are many factors to take into account.

i mean the details are always up to the intent of any given blackface. in tropic thunder its not used to mock black people, since RDJ isnt actually playing a black guy, he plays a white actor who does blackface to play a black guy. so if anything, it mocks white people and the stereotypes they hold about black people.

i definitely think the movie is fucking hilarious, but its outrageous on so many levels and im not sure whether anyone could do a movie like this today.

Well, seeing how many refugee destination countries are in the process of or have already finished building deportation centers this might be were the future is headed.
Any reputable source one might consult predicts increasing migration as a result of climatic catastrophes and conflict.
Entire islands and coastal regions will be swallowed up by the sea, stretches of land will fall to desertification, entire landscapes become uninhabitable due to pollution.

The goal seems to be the creation of a massive prison population that are not only stripped of any and all freedom to choose how they live and freedom of movement, moreover the elites are free to use them for whatever they choose. Forced labor, experiments, sources of organs etc.
And considering how ridiculously easy it is to brainwash the masses, those very same elites might not have a hard time convincing average citizens of the benefits of such plans. After all, it's about "getting criminals off the streets" and "refugees who steal all the jobs".

The end result of all this is a society where 1-10% are free to enjoy their civil rights while the vast majority is essentially without any rights.

Oh, zero percent chance that movie could be made today, it would probably piss off both sides equally…the show is called It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and just like Tropic Thunder, they’re not glorifying it as much as they’re commenting on how it’s an outdated practice and should be treated as such. Again, I understand that it’s offensive to some, but I just don’t buy the notion that removing TV shows from the Internet will do more to help Black folks than access to social services and the discontinuation of systemic government procedures designed to yank away what rights they’ve been allowed…
