Some, I agree. Not all.
I stay convinced that medication is not always the option, even for the most strange cases. But yeah. These people do need help from people around them.
My only problem is the structure of the institution of psychiatry (as a system, not just the building called "institution") which has so many problem that cause so much sufferings for mads. If we could manage to transfert that powers to people with a better systemic and personnal comprehension of the problem, things would go a lot better for these people. Sadly, this will not happen in our current system. Capitalism needs psychiatry to stay alive in order to justify the marginalization and medication of people then to legitimate its productivist mindset.
We will have to take down the entire things bit by bit.. or in its entirerity.
