Yes, the millions in Gaza mean less to me than those whom said industries may benefit in my country. Correct.
Well at least that's honest

Ok but you are talking here about asile seekers here, most migrants are not asile seekers, and I would say that asile seeker usually have a very legit and urgent reason to stay.

The financial help that you are talking about is allowance (like the one I receive) for only asyle seekers who are eligible, not every asyle seekers and absolutely not all migrants.

Come over on a dingy, Logiko
Little thought experiment, how low would your living condition be for you to try to decide to take the risk of coming by "dingy"?

Because they're actual terrorists who damage UK industry which is used for many things, not just helping Israel in Gaza. Christ, Logiko, the weapons factories also supply weapons for our national self-defense.
Yes, Sorry, I asked this question thinking that you cared about people dying in a genocide. Now your answer makes more sense to me.

I actually don't want to exploit them
No I was talking about the billionnaire's desire to exploit people, Sorry bad wording.

The left is also funded by corporations, Logiko.
Which corporation and which "left" and where? Because I don't remember a corporation ever funding an anticapitalist left lol.

The pushing of migrants and immigration only benefits the rich
Well Trump and bollore or musk or hundreds of other billionnaires do not seem to understand that... since they are mushing for anti-immigration policies...

I've never seen a billionnaire trying to advocate let any migrants who came illegally have access to the same benefits as other people... which is what we are asking.

I will not love people who do not love my country, and most of them do not. They want to exploit it.
I mean our country destroyed theirs and are still destroying them... so I kind of agree why people get anti-imperialist.

I do not believe that I should blindly love a country just because. (in fact I Believe that we should reject the very notion of loving countries to create a world without frontiers and oppressions)

who I would welcome more in a humanitarian sense.
Men are not humanitary worthy?

They want a better life, sure, but they should build their own countries up
That's fatalism. They should build their country up. The same people who sympathise for would not show you the same consideration, mate.
How are they supposed to do that when our country, politics and our billionnaires are destroying the economy of their country and they have no room left to really fight back?

I mean, wouldn't you call them "terrorist" if they started to attack western infrastructure exploiting the ressources of the country they used to live in?

I've lived in areas with these sorts of people. You can say: "All are welcome," and it will attract the vultures who seek to take advantage of your kindness. No more.
I'm sorry if you didn't receive the kindness that you should, but I don't believe that I should be suspicious or that people are vulture simply because they are from a country in difficulty. In fact, most of the stories i've heard from people working with migrants in difficulty (including members of my own family working to help them) is that migrants are trying to do their best to be integrated and do as little wave as possible.

In fact, as a product of immigration myself in the past, I can tell you that It is against my genome to ever reject a person in distress.

And just like I have no reason not to believe victims of abuse and women, I have no reasons not to distrust people who risk their lives to come here.

I never said capitalism was not a problem. That's Nameless. I just do not believe communism as a system solves our problems.
How do you think we should solve this crisis?

See, you're getting it. The dingy allows them to prevent themselves being deported where they KNOW they're doing something wrong.
Shouldn't we rather say "they know they are doing that will not be allowed". Wrong is your moral point of view here. I do not consider this wrong for example.

Capitalism is only a problem when there isn't enough of it:pepebusi:
So, more exploitation?

I think I will write a manifesto on the merits of child labor! Brace youselves, guys
:willight:

Also given to migrants. It's so prevalent there was a recent story where the government tried to give new build houses to migrants rather than British nationals.

Men are not humanitary worthy?
I have more sympathy for women fleeing war, and infinitely more sympathy for children. Even then, most of these people are just economic migrants who shouldn't be here in the first place. They enter illegally, Christ.

They're committing an illegal act. They're purposefully trying to leech off the hard working people of this country, an inheritance they should have no entitlement to. They never provided for it, and nor did their ancestors. They don't deserve it.

I mean, wouldn't you call them "terrorist" if they started to attack western infrastructure exploiting the ressources of the country they used to live in?
Nope. Please destroy these foreign businesses in their lands. I'm supportive of that. Keyword: Their.

I mean our country destroyed theirs and are still destroying them... so I kind of agree why people get anti-imperialist.
Fair, but that doesn't mean we accept the enemy that wants us dead through the gates, does it? They hate us, they don't enter. They're free to hate us for our past actions, but I am not going to stand by and let them kill me for it lol.

Which corporation and which "left" and where? Because I don't remember a corporation ever funding an anticapitalist left lol.
Remember, there are different sides of 'left'. Pro-immigration is left-wing, and corpos love that shit. They literally bring people in on work visas and pay them a pittance, lol.

The smart have a disconnect between what they mean and what they say. However, you shouldn't consider all billionaires a monolith. Even so, Musk is not against exploiting cheap labour at the source rather than bringing it in.

Little thought experiment, how low would your living condition be for you to try to decide to take the risk of coming by "dingy"?
Not abandoning my country. I have had options before, but I never took them. Still won't. I actually love my homeland and the culture we used to have enough to die for it. Guess you don't know that kind of belonging, mate.

And just like I have no reason not to believe victims of abuse and women, I have no reasons not to distrust people who risk their lives to come here.
The dodo did not think poorly of the human.

Maybe not necessarily, but there definitely are racists in the anti-immigration crowd
There are bad people in every crowd. There are racists in the leftist crowd too, for the record. I just don't extend my care to these people. That does not mean I wish them ill or think of them as subhuman or bad people. However, I do not believe it is my obligation to care for them or assist them.

Ultimately, I find it hard to have significant care for people outside of my community in general. I can objectively know a situation is bad, and even wish it does not happen, but it won't ruin my day or impact me significantly.

However, I have also probably done more for people on a individual level than the majority of people I know. I even used to offer food to the homeless until one too many tried mugging me, for example.

I'm anti-immigration because I do not think it is sustainable. It's going to cause a collapse on my tiny island nation. People forget how fucking tiny England is, and I do not want our beautiful countryside converted into housing apartments for people who do not share this country's cultural heritage, and see us as nothing but an economic zone.

I did. It was definitely better than staying at home masturbating to hentai.
I don't see an issue with "child labour" depending on the age. I don't think people below 15 should be holding serious jobs. I mean, my country already has minimum wage rules to pay people under 21 cheaper, and people under 18 even cheaper.

I think basic education should be completed before we consider 'sending kids to the mines' so to speak.

Forcing them to work too young will ruin their development - both physically and mentally. We need fully developed adults in society. However, part time jobs can aid in maturity. However, the hirers should give additional considerations to such workers, not exploit them, which I fear they would.

"In Africa, children work on construction and mining. Some even do soldiers' work. Western kids are spoiled and soft." -Some African warlord, probably.

I live in a country where many poor kids are forced to or abused into work and trust me what you're saying is only possible in a utopia

I agree, which is why I don't see an issue but think it is fundamentally impossible to legislate for properly. The kids will always be taken advantaged of, and it will hinder their development.

It's one of those issues I have no issue with "in theory" but it comes with many so caveats it isn't going to work. The younger they are, the less okay I am okay with it.

*Developed country.

Part-time jobs are common in Brazil.
Not sure on this. As in, it does happen in Brazil, but do you have coal mine work and forcing kids to work in sweatshops like they do in China, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh? (The home of fast fashion).

Also, are the limits on age? In some of these countries I hear kids as young as four work sewing machines because tiny hands make them more nimble.
