I was once as naive and left leaning as you.
No you were not lol. I would have registered that trust me. I can count real leftists here on my hand, and some of them are starting to jump out..
Do you know what happened with water during the ice age? The water in the oceans was binding itself to the ice of the polecaps. The water levels were sinking, water became saltier. Through vulcanic activities under water, water was still evaporating from the oceans and snowed down on the lands. The continents were covered in snow and there were a few green strips that were tundra. Do you know where people moved during this times? Rationally? Right - to the mountains and tundras. Mountains were the only consistent access to sunlight while snow storms ruled the ground. That is the origin of sun religions, people were sunbathing in order to survive the cold of the ice age and this is something that got inherited by future cultures.
So I don't have the paolitical knowledge to reply to you here so I made a little check:

This is mostly true (even if exagerated, which is logical frankly)

This is not.
Let us flash towards the end of the ice age, because here things started to become documented by greater civilizations.
Writing only arrived very recently, careful with that statement.
The ice and snow was melting and the earth started to warm up again
True (didn't need to check that)
we are mostly thanking volcanic activities for this,
Same, This is not (even if it can help, it is mostly due to a form of general global warming.) (rise of CO2 mostly) with slight impact of the orbits and the albedo (
the amount of light reflected and absorbed at the time).
nyway what happened to all the water in the snow and ice? Exactly! It flooded the lands because the earth was still permafrosted and rather dry.
Partially true. It's a rise of the ocean mostly, but you are exagerating the impact here.
It would take decades for the water to soak into the earth and fertilize it. But once the water soaked in and the land fertilized, what happened next? Think about it!
You can't simply put water on a soil to fertilize it, even on a large time scale. SOme soils are not fertile (I know the case of the desert of
Australia for example)
The people that survived from the mountains DESCENDED to the lands below, to repopulate the lands that became fertile after the flood.
These people that DESCENDED got declared as holy beings. They were wise human beings who knew that their time was comming to repopulate the world. And they succeeded. That is the origin story of ancient aliens and they have been documented in most religions as "the seven sages". Each sage took a different route and they journeyed across the lands. They met the arctic walls, went to the other side of the world which we now know as America. (The journey to the West)
Yeah.. you lost me there lol
And that's also the origin of the Ice Wall theory. It is documented in hindu texts/deliveries that are estimated 5000-10000 years old.
Nah, the theory originate the 19th century, it was a result to create a model of a flat earth
leftism for example is also bad in the hands of idiots.
Well.. I can't argue with that
I think you haven't read One Piece properly, because Oda is also a conspiracy theorist.
Lol no. He is inspired by colonial mythos (even if he technically use them quite well luckily) but he is not a conspiracy theorist. In fact, there are reasons to think he is a leftists, probably communist in his youth. Even tho I'm not 1000% certain as he sitll has a lot of liberal biases.
Oda has literally studied ancient Hindu stories and texts/stories from other cultures
True
and conspiracy usually follows these ancient stories.
No. They fetichicize them.
UFO research as well, the Department of Energy and companies like Lockheed Martin have covered up extensive advances in free energy, often by stealing them from others. People proving that the government and military industrial complex and true forces running them have been covering up free energy for years to keep us embroiled in wars so they could stay in power, is HORRIBLE for capitalism.
The Conspiracy theories that are good for capitalism are shit like Q-Anon and whatnot that Mossad/CIA cook up themselves, often in response to real conspiracies.
I can't believe this man actually tried to tell me conspiracy theories are a weapon of capitalism. Sure, some of them, but all of them? LOL hell no.
I also laughed at the idea that it's "fun" to believe these beings rule the world. Like, no, we've been a slave race for hundreds of years getting colonized and experimented on, and the people who have tried to tell the truth have been silenced in horrific ways.
This shit IS NOT fun, we've been going through it for a long time.
Those are the people I think are the most crazy, the people that WANT to be ruled by evil aliens. Freaky ass fuckers want to get probed. Aw hell naw.
I believe in ghosts and aliens because I've interacted with them, LOL, not because I "want to belieeeeve", OI. I believe in spirits because I've interacted with Spirits (different than ghosts).
Once I had actual experiences, it made me proud that in the past I had accepted stuff like that was possible, and chose not to judge others for their personal experiences. I trust the accounts of regular individuals regarding this stuff way more than outlets with known histories of lying like religious and political cults.
Trust me, if you had no fun with conspiracy theory, you would search for better explanations. It's not fun to keep searching something that gives no real materialists answers.
What I'm telling you is of my own experience. I was a conspiracy theorist back when no-one even talked about it. I delved DEEP¨into these theories and yeah.. I wasn't pleased in searching, the fun was not in the findings.
The fun, was in the seeking.
Trying to understand the world IS fun. Even when we talk about horrors. It's wonderful, it's mysterious, it's entertaining. And that what conspiracy theorism feeds on. Our wonder. And I had a lot to give., but not these theories.
One day, my hunger for answers got too deep, too strong and I asked the wrong question. I wanted more than just made up answer with dark evil monster. I wanted SOLUTIONS. I wanted REAL CONSISTANT KNOWLEDGE. At this moment, I learned to understand how I functionned.
Learning how you can be tricked, mentally, physically, by your own vision, is the biggest gift you can give yourself.
Capitalism friendly conspiracy theorism are not just things like Qanon, these are the easy ones. No. It goes FAR beyond. The moment you start to use made up stuff to explained documented and researched social issues (like imperialism, capitalism, dominations system), you stop being a problem to capitalism and you end up on the friendly list. The list that won't understand how to fight it effectively.
The idea that people with bad intent rules the world in the shadow is confortable. It creates a sense of control, it makes us believe that we are not "them", that we are "better" than we can turn around the system. And that last part is true, but not with that mindset. Refusing to aknowledge that our system is a human construction simply blinds you to the sociological reality of our dominations systems. Things that are overally documented, researched and discussed everyday. We can't simply overturn the system if we don't understand how the system works.
If you think bad people rule the world in the shadow, you will miss the Billionnaire in the room and the class positions and interests that leads people to do so bad stuff. It's not about being good or bad or being alien or human.
It's about being in a position of domination in a hierarchy of subjugation and having material interests to maintain that position.
I believe in ghosts and aliens because I've interacted with them, LOL, not because I "want to belieeeeve", OI. I believe in spirits because I've interacted with Spirits (different than ghosts).

People interact with stuff that are not "real" everyday. Extraordinary claims requires extraordinary evidences.
