Bro he was willing not to fight ray so he can send shakky to safe place.

Roger and gaban are both fighting imu group
why would ray fight rocks group and not imu group ? Ray isn't gonna be the odd one out

He was stopping other pirates so that shakky doesn't get hurt.
He can't give a single flying fuck about rayleigh.
He has no reason to.

Shiki isn't gonan fight ray for keeping shakky safe. The last thing on his mind is shakky because he knows she is safe so now he has other shit to do.

Rayleigh's strong and we got a nice moment of him whooping Sommers and being with Shakky, but that might be all. It'd be nice if someone fights Shiki, but as long as Rayleigh is carrying her, Shiki ain't fighting him. Shame we've only been getting clashes, but some scuffles seem cool.

I don't think he is afraid of reyleigh. More like hancock is a tricky opponent to deal with. If reyleigh manges to relieve hancock from bb's grasp hancock can turn him into stone quite quickly. In that moment with his crew already turned to stone, koby a marine already there who can also join in and the right hand man of the pirate king being present he made a calculated decision to retreat taking koby with him.

I think it’s pretty clear he’s telling Shakky that he needs to leave her somewhere safe for now and go back into the fight.

I’m not sure that he’ll do anything big though, there’s a lot of characters here and Ray’s already had his moment with Shakky.
