As already may be known, the young man @ThatGuy (20) was found dead in his apartement last Sunday. All the evidence pointed to a violent crime having taken place.
After intensive investigations, we were able to arrest the suspect @MonsterZoro. It is not clear yet whether he is the perpetrator or not, but the evidence against him is overwhelming. He denies the allegations. Today also the key of the victims Tesla was found in the flat of the suspect. The investigations are still ongoing. In addition, it is still unclear whether we are looking for one or more perpetrators.
The unusual level of brutality with which the murder was committed suggests that ThatGuy was not a random victim, but that the crime was planned. Currently, greed and anger about bad yelp-reviews the victim wrote are suspected to be a possible motive.
The victims body was so badly mauled that dental records had to be used to identify him. Even we as experienced investigators are left speechless about the level of violence used to end this young mans life.
The preliminary autopsy results are currently raising new questions, but we have to wait for the final report before we can include these into our investigations. For reasons of investigation tactics, I cannot go into more detail on these new findings at the moment.
We have already received many hints from the population, but the decisive one has not been among them yet. In addition, we received a few interesting anonymous tips, which we have to follow up.
We would like to appeal to the public: If you noticed anything in connection with the case or if you knew the victim, please contact the police. We have not been able yet to locate any friends or familymembers of the victim.
