Hou Ken loses every battle ever if he's in charge of an army - he has no ability at all other than military might, which while exceptional still isn't top of the verse. He lost to Shin. Shin can't even face truly elite Great Generals 1v1 yet

It's obvious HouKen isn't actually that strong - Old Ou Ki nearly beat him. He had a hard time with old Hyou. He's nowhere near the guys like Mou Bu is or Kan Mei was
