Not saying this isnt possible but......not sure if you will get what you want from this.
Aka Kidd vs Shamrock.
Reminds me of the story of Doffy and Law...
Ultimately, it wasn't Law himself who beat Doffy.
It's just that this time, instead of Luffy, it could be Zoro.
Just gonna pull this up, this i am sure the reveal comes near with every chapter.
Also i like that Gunko uses a fruit which points in a specific direction, while Kid needs the real direction. He is misslead by hunting shanks (wrong direction), but should hunt down Shamlock, which kidnapped (in Kids mind killed) Victoria. But she will show him the right direction. :D

Is Victoria the heir to the throne of whatever island Kid was from?
The SBS made it seem like she was just an orphan like Kid and Killer.
CDs are kings that ascended into Godhood. Loki was rightful heir to Elbaf. If Loki became King and then subsequently assumed CD status, that would rope Elbaf into the WG.
I guess it’s possible for Oda to retcon Kid’s backstory. But wouldn’t it make more sense if Kid’s island was too poor to pay the heavenly tax and hence was unable to join the WG? This led to gangs taking over the island, leading to Victoria’s death. All because the WG was cruel and miserly, offering protection only to those who are willing to shell out resources to them.
The latter would give Kid a better reason to join Luffy’s alliance in the EoS war.

I feel like this is just needlessly trying to connect a plot point to Kid, which I understand because he does need more development. But I just fail to see how this fits. Especially when there’s no evidence Kid is even on Elbaf.

From the anime, Garling seems to be blonde. Meaning Shanks got his red hair from his mother.
I suppose Kid being the bastard of some CD like Bonney would make sense. CDs are the enemies of the Ds. Kid is rivals with Luffy and Law.
