The way Loki described Hajrudin's mother as having 'filthy blood in her veins' suggests she wasn’t from Elbaf and that he holds a grudge against her for leading his father astray.
This led me to believe she was either a royal married to him or a foreign agent to seduce him and caused Harald's downfall by stripping away his Elbaf's warrior spirit out and persuaded him to make the country become part of the WG. Ultimately, leading him into a trap when he visited Marijoa.
Thoughts?
Look at the design of the castle and the people's aristocrat features.
It looks like Harald was mocking them because they think of themselves as gods but couldn't stop him from trampling over the place? That was 109 years ago where it was probably the norm for CD to live around freely until the God Valley incident.
